As a DevOps Engineer at CoBank, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of CoBank's AWS footprints through Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code, with a strong emphasis on NetApp and storage management. You will play a critical role in automating and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applications. The DevOps Engineer will assist in the design, implementation, and management of CoBank's AWS footprints using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and application deployment, with a focus on storage solutions.
1. Support the maintenance of CoBank's AWS footprints and NetApp storage systems.
2. Monitor and optimize system performance, including storage solutions.
3. Support the automation of deployment processes.
4. Maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
5. Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, storage, and deployments.
6. Collaborate with teams to ensure best practices are being followed.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps and storage management.
2 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineering/IT Operations/SysAdmin role required
1 year of experience supporting a cloud service, preferably AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure required
1. Experience in unified (SAN/NAS) storage management with strong understanding of NetApp hardware products and software suite.
2. Direct administration experience with NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP 9 and NetApp StorageGRID.
3. Experience in the set up and monitoring of data replication technologies for disaster recovery purposes.
4. Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of NetApp storage arrays and Brocade SAN infrastructure.
5. Knowledge in the use of storage monitoring tools.
6. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
8. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
9. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
10. Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
12. Routinely uses significant judgement on moderate-to-complex business problems.
13. Demonstrates strategic thinking.
14. Strong collaboration skills across departments.
15. Any AWS/Azure/GCP Certification (developer, solution architect, networking, infrastructure) (preferred).
16. 24 x 7 on-call support and occasional travel required.
17. Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $89,600 - $110,160. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
