Performs loan transaction analysis and coordinates loan closing tasks for direct internally documented commercial loans for both Regional Agribusiness and Rural Infrastructure portfolios. Proactively manages assigned portfolio to meet constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Interprets internal credit summaries and loan documents to perform closing tasks. Follows up with internal and external stakeholders for collection of pre- and post- closing documentary requirements. Interacts with and supports internal and external customers to ensure high satisfaction level with bank/customer relationships, including entire deal team.
1. Works closely with internal and external customers (including, but not limited to, relationship managers, credit analysts and attorneys) to respond to customers’ requests, provide status updates and clarify details of the Regional Agribusiness direct, internally documented transactions.
2. Updates all internal systems consistently, timely and accurately. Ensures timeliness and accuracy of transaction checklist, all data entry & data management.
3. Verifies signatures on documents to Resolutions and Incumbencies.
4. Independently, timely and accurately closes loans, facilitates loan funding, processes/maintains documents and prepares/reviews the Boarding sheet to ensure accuracy, validity, and completeness.
5. Ensures that all conditions precedent are complete, that legal checklists are complete in a timely manner as the deal progresses, and that there is appropriate legal oversight of the transaction.
6. Accurately track conditions subsequent (non-collateral related). Continues to monitor the timeliness and accuracy of transaction checklist.
7. Maintains adherence to bank policies, controls, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality and mitigate risk.
8. Identifies potential issues, proactively solves problems, and escalates appropriately, demonstrates good judgement and desire to learn.
9. Becomes proficient as a closer of direct RABG transactions and begins to learn RIBG direct transactions, appropriately taking on more responsibility and progressing toward preparedness for the next level.
10. Takes ownership of pipeline/deals/transactions and assigned banking centers and provides an elevated level of customer service.
11. Other duties as assigned
1 year more years of experience as legal assistant, paralegal, commercial loan closer, or loan accountant, preferably in commercial banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $57,200 - $65,500. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
