Job Description

At CoBank, the Treasury Analyst within the Funds Transfer Pricing group of the bank's Treasury department provides customer service and maintains relationships with CoBank' s relationship managers, credit analysts and association customers regarding transfer pricing issues, financial modeling, and systems development. In addition, this position participates in the development and maintenance of risk management products offered to all customers across the bank.

Essential Functions

  • Performs daily transfer pricing duties including rate sheet creation, transfer pricing, prepayment review and exception reporting.
  • Work with internal and external customers to review transfer pricing assigned and methodology.
  • Assists in the design, development, and production of various types of management reports, including sections of the monthly ALCO package.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and reporting as requested based on finance, transfer pricing and technical knowledge.
  • Performs analysis for ad-hoc and special projects, and performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or other relevant discipline required

Work Experience

  • 1 year of relevant banking or financial services experience, preferably in treasury required
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, and the ability to creatively present the results of research and analysis to impact opinion.
  • Understanding of financial instruments, markets and knowledge of economic principles.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service and detail orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with advanced ability to use spreadsheets and database applications.

About CoBank

The typical base pay range for this role is between $76,100 - $87,100. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
